πŸ“ Procrastination vs Planning, where's the line?

Is there a line at all?

Hey you,

You are procrastinating something right now

I am willing to bet 100 Monopoly money on it

Now you might answer, "No I'm just waiting for the right time" or "I'm planning to do it the right way"

Classic answers, and not completely invalid, there is definitely a time for everything, and you should always make big decisions carefully.

But first, answer me this

If you were to start today, what would it cost?

And if your answer is β€œtime”, guess what.

You've already been spending time either procrastinating or planning.

Next question

If you were to start today, could you adjust the plan tomorrow?

If you don't have to make any "permanent commitments", then why are you doing so much planning?

You don't even know what it will be like because you haven't started, so how do you expect all this planning to work out when you get halfway through and need to pivot?

Its like when people place their bets in the stock market after days of research, only to have something go terribly wrong that no one could have foreseen.

No matter what stock investors say, we cannot see the future, we don't know how our plans will work out.

So maybe you should invest in yourself now

and see if your value goes up.
